Design Overview
Using traditional methods, it can take nurses up to an hour to place all leads required to run an ECG test on a NICU baby due to the wires being torn off by the baby's movement. The Karegaroo Neonatal ECG Vest's wires are embedded within one device so that when the patient moves around, the vest will stay secure.

Normally, the nurses place the electrode pads on the patient and then snap on the electrodes, resulting in great amounts of force on the baby's chest. The Karegaroo Neonatal ECG Vest uses magnets to connect electrodes and electrode pads which eliminates the need to press down.

Why Karegaroo?
When using the Karegaroo Vest, the maximum force on the patient's chest is 40 times less than when using traditional ECG methods.
The Karegaroo Vest uses magnets, wires, and snaps that are compatible with the strength of signals and electrodes of all brands of ECG machines.
